Zlata Hrženjak

Teacher advisor

Teacher trainer in Adult Education

She has long experience in working as a teacher of English language. In 2005 she was promoted to teacher mentor because of numerous extracurricular activities with students, and in 2011 she become teacher advisor.

She participated in education of university language students while doing their practice in the class and she was mentoring teacher beginners while preparing them for the  exam.

In 2004 she was enlisted on the Microsoft leadingteachers.com as one of the innovative teachers for  working on the Microsoft  tool Virtual classroom.

From 2005 to 2011 she was Senior county teacher trainer for English language teachers in vocational school.

She attended eight modules of education within the international project „Improvement of knowledge, skills and competences in the field of managing schools and teaching staff in Croatia“ organized by British Council in Croatia and Agency foe education

She accomplished ECDL course of IT.

After accomplishing course for adult education within program CARDS she continues attending course „Regional network of local educational institution“ within the IPA program and organized by Agency for adult and vocational education and in 2013 was appointed teacher trainer for adult education.

Since 2002 she participates in a number of Comenius projects as silent partner, and participates at the international training courses „Rediscovering education“ in Caserta, Italy (2003), International ENO conference in Virje, Croatia (2004), and International scientific conference „Creative approach in teachers’ education“ in Požega, Croatia (2008)

In 2014 she participates in the project School Gala Europe, Montegrotto, Italy where her students were awarded 2nd prize for short film „One day of school in the Spa“

From 2014 she participates in realization of Erasmus+ projects strategic partnership IBRAVE and WORKING IN EUROPE – SKILLS FOR  SUCCESS, and SHOOT IT, youth exchange.

From 2015 she was in charge for coordination and realization of all international project in her school.

She is also a member of school development plan team.

Ljubomir Tomić

Teacher advisor

Teacher trainer in Adult Education

As a Graduated Mechanical Engineer he began working in ’98 in manufacturing industry (Đuro Đaković company – Steam Boilers) , but right after internship he became an Engineering Teacher (back in 2000th)

In 2007. he graduated in E-learning Academy (ELA), course “Online Tutoring”, organized by CARNet.

Same year, he completed ECDL course (basic/advanced) and became certified ECDL mentor/expert

Next year, in 2008. he was awarded Certificate of Participation in Leonardo da Vinci Program, for mentoring two students (car mechanics) in Ptuj, Slovenia.

In March, 2012. he finished another course- “Regional network of local educational institution“, within the IPA program, organized by Agency for adult and vocational education (ASOO) and in 2013. was appointed teacher trainer for adult education.

Next year, he became Teacher Mentor, on the basis of all the past work and activities with his students and co-workers.

In 2015. he was appointed as coordinator for CARNet EU project: “eSchools: Establishing a System for Developing Digitally Mature Schools (pilot project)”. During the project, he earned “ISE Guru ” certificate, by finishing one of MOOC’s in 2017 –  “Advanced application of educational trends and ICT”.

Finally, in 2018. he was promoted to Teacher Advisor, continuing to improve his knowledge and skills, as off his students and colleagues.

Snježana Marić

Teacher advisor

“People who want to accomplish something – always find the way !”

She was teaching English and German from 1990 – 2014. During her carrier she was participating in numerous extracurricular activities with students, tutoring education of university language students.

While monitoring students’practice in the class she was mentoring teacher beginners while preparing them for the license examinations.

She also participated in the organizing and implementation of students competitions and annual reviews.

She is educated evaluator of the State graduation exam in English and German since 2009.


She became elected school principal  in May 2014. Since than school has participated in numerous international projects. She is opened to and welcomes new initiatives that make the educational proces s more interesting  and more relaxed for students and teachers , and pay great attention to raising the quality of teaching process  which includes professional and personal development of all teachers.

Her personal and professional motto is : “People who want to do something, always find the way!”
